It just sounds phenomenally risky to update the BIOS from a running system. Downvoting is for content that doesn’t contribute to the discussion, not a disagree button. Anything that can interrupt the bios update utility in Windows can be a problem. I’ll say this ever time someone pretends like no one is using it Well teh 2 Gibabye mobos just got removed from the short list of parts for my new rig..

This just solidifies that reason. If anyone can confirm it please send me a message on the exact driver you tried to update. Was the wrong BIOS. Sorry I’m no help but there’s a way.
Opening up a fresh laptop and reinstalling the OS should be common practice for all Uninstalled and the problem went away. Now there’s just an “Unknown device” in Device Manager and I don’t know what it is.
They may have stealth fixed it. You used to be so solid. I count 5 apps that Windows doesn’t have in that outdated screencap.
Asrock is really taking their time releasing a bios update for us. Next, we need to change the FreeDOS scripts slightly so that instead of trying to install itself when it boots, it will run the flash tool. No real BIOS options for adjusting fan curves only profiles which don’t even stick, at least in my case.

updatw Second one, something in the Mobo was fucked up and it wouldn’t recognize the Intel drivers. Fuck you Gigabyte, fuck you in the arse with a looooooong broom handle. The bad thing about ultra-fast boot is that it disables going to BIOS via keyboard during boot.
They literally do anything to avoid honoring RMA requests.

Voltages were always consistent on this board. Videos only mentioning AMD in passing i. Meanwhile, the temporary substitute turned replacement board MSI I bought works flawlessly to this day.
